Two Days Trip - Argolis & Olympia
First day: Start at 08:30 from Athens, driving trough Eleusina to Corinth Canal. Drive to ancient Corinth, where apostolic Paul, educated the Corinthian about Jesus Christ. Continuously drive to Mycenaean, visit the Lion gates and the Acropolis of Agamemnon the King of the Kings, who organized the Pan-Hellenic, companied against Troy. Drive to Nafplion (The first capital of Greece, after the revolution against the Turks in 1821). Lunch in Nafplion. Drive to ancient Epidavrus and visit the ancient theater, (famous for the acoustic). Driving trough Tailgates mountain to the other side of Peloponnesus from east to west and we arrive late in the afternoon in ancient Olympia. Overnight, in ancient Olympia in Hotel kronio. Second day: Start about 09:00 after breakfast, visit the archeological site and the museums of ancient Olympia, where the first Olympic games took place in the 7th century BC. After lunch we start coming back to Athens, trough Pirgos and Patras.
